What is the VLNL Decks font?
Donald DBXL Beekman lives on a cruise ship in Amsterdam’s waters (well the Amstel river, actually). Living on the water inspired him to design this ‘cruise ship’ typeface VLNL Decks. Available in several variations (6 different weights), it’s a fabulous cocktail of freshly caught fish typography. Decks is recommended for seafood restaurants and speed boats as well as slick city boys wearing overly expensive sun-glasses. Decks is the tiger prawn amidst sea foods.
Originally designed for the 5 man strong dj-crew All Hands On Decks, it has a distinct techno look but the slightly rounded corners give it a warmer feel.
