What is the Proper font?
Proper was based on handwritten characters (of my own) that I scanned and then digitally touched up. I kept the digital editing to a minimum so as to preserve the freshness of the original. I did, however, want to convey a sense of propriety and regularity and so my original handwriting was done with quite a lot of control. I kept the size of the lower case characters quite large and this makes the font very readable, even at quite small point sizes.
Proper may be used when you need clean, legible text, with a natural look, e.g.:

Proper contains a full character set with all upper and lower case characters, numerals, symbols, accented characters and it has been carefully spaced and kerned.

Is Proper a free to download font?
I'm afraid not. Proper is not free to download. You will need to pay for it with your hard earn money.

Trust me when I say, don't waste your time searching for a free download of Proper. You will not find a link anywhere.
It is highly unlikely that you'll be able to find Proper for free. You might see a few websites that will say "Free Download" of Proper font, but these are just attempts to get you to click on a link which will either take you to an ad landing page or you risk getting viruses on your computer. In the rare occasion that you do find a free download for Proper remember that it's illegal to use a font if you didn't pay for it!
